Join us for an engaging webinar that delves into the complexities of human trafficking, particularly within the context of youth and adult survivors who have been system involved. Through a multidimensional lens, we’ll explore risk factors, protective strategies, and collaborative approaches to support survivors navigating the nuances of an already complicated system.
Learning objectives:
As a result of this webinar, participants will be better able to:
- Define human trafficking, to foster a shared understanding among system-involved survivors.
- Recognize the intersectionality of human trafficking with domestic and sexual violence and other social issues, particularly those that effect system involve survivors.
- Identify the risk factors and indicators of trafficking specific to individuals with system involvement.
- Explore collaborative strategies to enhance protective factors, cultural safety, economic empowerment, and inclusion for survivors from diverse backgrounds navigating systems.
