Graciela Olguín
Program Assistant
As Program Assistant, Graciela manages the National Health Resource Center on Domestic Violence online store and technical assistance requests. Graciela is born and raised in Oakland, California, rasied within the Youth Speaks slam poetry scene, and is a proud alum of Mills College, also having attended California College of the Arts, and the Peralta Community Colleges. Graciela’s background consists of working with the ACLU NorCal, as well as Essential Access Health working towards reproductive health rights and access for all. Since working with FUTURES, Graciela has worked on Project Catalyst, FUTURES’ national program building partnerships between health centers and domestic violence agencies, as well as with the National Health Collaborative on Violence and Abuse, a collaborative of professional health associations dedicated to addressing and reducing the health consequences of intimate partner violence and abuse through policy change. Graciela is dedicated to continue to work at the intersections of health and gender-based violence, intimate as well as institutional, and what that means for trans, non-binary, and gender nonconforming communities.
