Megha Rimal
Program Specialist, Health
Megha Rimal, MSW, is a Program Specialist on the Health team. Megha provides programmatic and technical assistance support for the National Health Initiative on Violence including the National Health Resource Center on Domestic Violence (HRC) and Health Partners on IPV and Exploitation, and the Workplaces Respond project. Megha has worked in the anti-violence movement for more than five years and brings her passion for transformative justice and abolition to the work. She is committed to intersectional gender justice advocacy and movement building. Prior to FUTURES, Megha worked at various domestic violence programs in Ohio, where she provided crisis intervention, advocacy, and case management services to survivors. Megha earned her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Gender Studies from Mount Holyoke College and MSW from Case Western Reserve University with a focus on community organizing and social change.
