Preventing Family Violence: Community Engagement Makes a Difference

This report looks at some of the lessons learned from community-based efforts to counter family violence. The bulk of the report focuses on five key goals that emerged from the FVPF’s survey, goals that are critical to family violence prevention efforts. The discussion includes examples of groups that are addressing each of the goals.

There is also a section on the nuts and bolts of reform—a list of practical guidelines for effective community engagement to prevent family violence.
