Sara Kriksciun
Chief Partnerships Officer
Sara is a lifelong advocate for gender equity and ending racism. Her role at Futures Without Violence is to identify and lead strategic partnerships that help stop sexual assault, relationship violence, and family violence before they happen, and help survivors heal. It is a labor of love – and she remains humbled and honored to call this her job. Sara serves on the leadership team at Futures Without Violence, helping to set strategies to scale impact and direction for the organization. She is a Fulbright Scholar and Ford Knight Fellow with over 25 years of experience working on projects that span gender-based violence, girls’ education, reproductive rights and more, at organizations such as the United Nations Trust Fund to End Violence against Women, CARE International and EngenderHealth. Sara has also served as a trainer of human rights advocates from the Global South, helping to grow their organizations’ impact and sustainability. She has a Master’s in International Human Rights from Columbia University and has traveled to about 40 countries. Sara is currently learning Korean at a rate much slower than her two precocious kids.
