Communication and Administrative Specialist, Children and Youth Program
DJ (they/them) directs the Children’s Team in their communications vision and strategy and oversees event logistics and marketing. They utilize anti-oppression frameworks, collaborative leadership, and values-driven approaches to engage survivors, families, young people, and the professionals and communities who can support them. DJ believes in the power of experimentation and learning in community with others. They joined FUTURES in 2018 after earning their B.A. in the History of Science at Harvard University. Some of DJ’s greatest joys are graphic design, making homemade pasta, and writing poetry.
