Justin Carter is a dedicated leader in public affairs, social work, and public health, holding a Bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and a Master’s in Public Affairs from The University of Texas at Austin. Specializing in mental health, public safety, community wellness, and social justice, he has developed innovative, research-driven strategies to prevent violence and promote wellness.

Justin has made significant contributions at the University of Texas at Austin, leading efforts in mental health promotion and suicide prevention, and at the Ohio Domestic Violence Network, advancing gender-based violence prevention initiatives. As a national consultant, he has worked on engaging men and boys in violence prevention and redefining healthy masculinity.

A passionate advocate for ending violence and fostering diversity and inclusion, Justin inspires action through speaking engagements and collaborations with universities, non-profits, and government agencies.

Now based in Washington, D.C., he serves as a Program Manager with the Children and Youth Team at Futures Without Violence, advancing initiatives to create safer, more supportive environments for children and youth nationwide.
