Women and their children – and all of us – deserve safety. It’s the most basic need we all have.

No one, no matter their country of origin, religion, or race, should be threatened by violence in their neighborhoods, homes, workplaces, courthouses or other public spaces.

Futures Without Violence joins all who call for an end to this violence. And we stand with those who are working toward a better path forward.

Human trafficking affects nearly 27.6 million people worldwide, including tens of thousands of people here in the United States. Like domestic violence, trafficking is about power and control.

Futures Without Violence works to prevent and respond to this violation of human rights by:
👉 Training healthcare professionals and advocates to support trafficking survivors.
👉Promoting trauma-informed, survivor-centered approaches.
👉 Addressing vulnerabilities that lead to exploitation.
👉 Advocating for stronger policies to protect survivors globally.

January is Stalking Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness and support prevention, especially for young adults. People ages 18 to 24 experience the highest rates of stalking among adults.

At FUTURES, we’re working to change that. Through our program CATAPULT: Campus Action and @unscriptedfutures, we partner with students and campus leaders to promote respect, healthy relationships, and accountability on college campuses.
