“Technology-facilitated abuse (TFA) can be hard to recognize, especially when technology is so deeply woven into our lives. But if you’ve ever felt uneasy about how your partner uses technology around you, your instincts matter.

Ask yourself:
📱 Do they demand access to your passwords or control shared devices?
📍 Do they always seem to know where you are — even when you haven’t told them?
🔒 Do they manage the phone plan, internet account, or smart home devices?
👁️‍🗨️ Do you worry your devices or online accounts are being monitored?

If something feels off, it might be. TFA can deeply affect your sense of safety and privacy, especially for Deaf, DeafBlind, and underserved survivors who may already face barriers to help.”
